Looking closely at, listening to and engaging with the natural world in my local environment, inspired me for this body of work.

These paintings are almost like a fusion between my ceramic background and painting, with many having a tactile quality to them. The works are influenced by the tones, shapes and patterns of my local landscape and seascape. They investigate colour, form and texture.
